How it works.
Pinecap Review is your workspace for deliveries from Pinecap Partners: you read, comment and decide directly in the document, instead of in an email thread with attachments.
1Sign in without a password
Enter your email address and you receive a one-time link and a six-digit code. The link signs you in directly; the code is for when you read the email on a different device than the one you work on. There is no password, so no password can leak.
2Read and comment in the document
Select a passage and write. The comment is anchored to that exact passage and to the version you are reading, so no reply ever concerns the wrong version. Pinecap answers in the same view, and you see what is new since your last visit.
3Make the decision on the page
When a document asks for your verdict there are three choices: approve, approve with changes, or request changes. The decision is a working decision, not a signature, and it is logged with time and version so both you and the company can show what was decided and when.
How your material is protected
Your material sits in an isolated environment in Stockholm, within the EU. All traffic is encrypted, all storage is encrypted at rest, and access is technically separated per company and per person, down to the database level. Every read, comment and decision is timestamped in a trail that is never edited after the fact, which is also your evidence the day someone asks who knew what and when. Search engines are not let in.
And what we do not claim: the material is not end-to-end encrypted. Pinecap reads what you share with us, because that is what the advisory work requires, and our subprocessors for hosting and email process data under data processing agreements within the GDPR.
